Rush Pikes Peak Debuts New Game Field
Rush Pikes Peak Soccer Club have made the final preparations for Boddington Park to become our first home field location. After 3 years of hard work, investments and good management, we are now confident in selecting this field as our home game venue for our younger competitive players. The field dimensions require that our younger competitive teams use this facility. It is our long time goal to manage facilities across Colorado Springs where we can play all our competitive games, but with our first games on the field this past weekend, it marks the start of this long process. It will be the home game field for our U11 and U12 boys and girls games. Boddington Park is a great venue and we are very proud to make the first steps in having a place where we have a true home field. Many thanks go to the Boddington Family and the City of Colorado Springs for helping with this effort. The community and neighborhood around Boddington Park has been very supportive, and we appreciate their patience and understanding and would like to thank them all as well. We would also like to give a special thanks to Darrold Hughes and Colorado College for donating their time and equipment to help us build and line the field.
The first game on the brand new field was a great 1-0 victory by our U11 Nike Girls coached by Brian Lux. They are pictured here at their new home field!
