Rush Pikes Peak Scores New Director Of Soccer Operations
Brian Lux, a familiar face to Rush Pikes Peak, has been named to the new position of Director of Soccer Operations.
Adding to Brian’s responsibilities of coaching several Colorado Springs teams and directing the Youth Girls, Brian is stepping into a newly created role of Director of Soccer Operations for the club. He will oversee the day to day operations and lead the office and technical staff.
“I am very excited by this new challenge,” explained Brian. “With more and more players joining Rush in Colorado Springs, we are able to add a position so that we can really focus on developing and growing our local branch.”
In 3 years Rush Pikes Peak has grown from 500 players to 800, and Brian’s goal is to continue growing at this rate. With the Pikes Peak team focused on developing players and programs, more and more Colorado Springs families are seeing how the Rush way provides the best opportunities for development at all levels.
“Being a part of the biggest youth soccer club in the world is a great thing,” said Brian. “Locally we have some work to do, but the goal is to become the best club in Southern Colorado and eventually in the state. We will work hard every day to reach that goal.”
A former semi-pro goalkeeper, Brian is also Rush Soccer’s Technical Director for the Caribbean. Spreading the Rush way internationally, Brian has had the privilege of developing Rush in the Caribbean with 1 club in the Bahamas, 2 in Haiti, 1 in Curacao and more to come.
