2 Finals for Rush Pikes Peak at Pride of the Rockies Tournament

This past weekend 2 Rush teams made the finals at the Pride of the Rockies tournament held at the United States Air Force Academy. The U12 Nike girls coached by Nik Penn and Tomas Martinez were a late addition to the tournament, and it turned out to be a great weekend. After breezing through their bracket they went down 1-0 early in the final. They battled back to tie the score at 1-1 and force penalty kicks. Unfortunately, they came out on the losing end to take second place. The U18 Swoosh team coached by Diego Romero had a small setback losing one of their group games, but rebounded to win the championship game in convincing fashion. Congratulations to both teams for their work this past weekend!
